Stewart Family, I was so sorry to learn of Vi's passing. A flood of sweet memories come to mind. She was such a kind friend to me when I was in Ventura Second Ward in the late 1970's. Just like a second mom. She and I used to go to the temple together regularly and I so enjoyed and appreciated our conversations. I remember one time we met to carpool on a horribly rainy, stormy morning in a parking lot. There were several elderly ladies waiting in her station wagon."We aren't still going, are we?" I asked Vi. "Oh, yes!" she replied. It was a bit scary going down, but the sun was shining when we came out of the temple....She was so gentle and Christlike. I can imagine what a caring, wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother she must have been. I will remember her fondly....Jill, if you are ever in the Ventura area, give me a call (805 604-1931). Are you coming for the Buena reunion next year? It would be fun to see you and have a chance to visit. Christy Clark (Williams) Corbett
